"Last weekend it was just too cold sitting in a sweatshirt so I’m glad I brought this jacket with. I went from wanting to go inside to being perfectly comfy. The pockets are like putting gloves on and buttons are just so much easier than a zipper. And yes, the photo is pretty funny! Both of our wives were convinced the hammock wouldn’t hold us, so naturally, my buddy and I had to prove them wrong!"
"Now that the weather is getting cooler, I have worn this multiple times throughout the day and really like how well it blocks the wind. For being such a lightweight garment it does an excellent job of keeping me warm and dry on the job-site. I would highly recommend to my co-workers!"
"I've worn this jacket several times now. It is warm but lightweight. Pockets are nice and large. I got sprinkled on while mowing and the water didn't soak thru. I use it in my shop while working on projects. I usually only heat the shop to 60°. This is much warmer than the sweatshirt I was wearing. It does not restrict my movement. I would highly recommend this jacket."
"I like that this jacket looks as good as it does but is built tough. I’ve been trying to keep it clean because it’s a nicer jacket I can throw on for an evening out with the family but if it comes down to it and I need another layer while working, I’ll throw this on and know I don’t need to be careful and worry about ripping or snagging it. Berne apparel has been coming through strong with practical, tough, good looking products and I’m here for it. 10/10 would recommend this jacket"
"I'm 5"10, 170lbs - this jacket ran a bit larger however its incredibly easy to layer garments underneath, depending on temperature. Pockets are perfect and lined to keep your hands cold and DRY. This jackets water repellant skills are top notch, which I really appreciate! Overall very happy with performance!"
"I’ve been really impressed with this jacket so far. It’s lightweight, comfortable, and well-designed. We haven't had rain in weeks, so I can't speak to the water repellency just yet, but everything else hits the mark. What I appreciate most are the hidden fasteners—there are no exposed snaps or buttons to snag on tools or equipment when working in the shop or around the property. It’s fast becoming my go-to layer for cutting the early-morning chill on fall fishing trips and outdoor projects around the homestead. Plus, the quilting isn't just for looks; it keeps the insulation locked in place without the bunching up I have experience in other jackets. Great piece of gear overall. Just a tip on sizing: at 260 lbs, the 2XL runs a bit large on me, and an XL would have fit better. That was user error on my end, not a fault of Berne."
