All in all its good

"Great fitting and comfortable to say the least with safety being its greatest asset as you are easily seen. My favorite thing about it is probably the pockets. I like how thin the wall is to your torso as I can warm my hands to my own body and not to mention they zip. , which is neat. Its definitely able to handle 30° colds with minor winds. The biggest problem to me is not ONLY the price; as i believe is too expensive, but rather the zipper. It feels too thin and too easily to break for my more at times hands on job. Great safety jacket otherwise."

Made well all-around

"I’m a carpenter who’s been doing primarily concrete work so far this winter. This jacket is a valuable asset but has some drawbacks. It is not windPROOF or waterPROOF, but I am impressed with how wind/water RESISTANT it is. Have worn this for 9 hrs pulling insulated concrete blankets all day in -12 degrees and didn’t get cold once, but the wind does cut through this jacket, base and insulating layers are important with this garment. I also wore this in pouring down rain and it held up well, let me mostly dry and got me to where I needed to be for the day without being completely drenched through to my base layer. I’d say this is the ideal jacket for spring/fall weather, it does hold heat pretty well, I will say. I really like the fit, it’s not bulky at all, it’s extremely functional, the chest pocket is a great size for my phone when I have my belt on, the zippers are great, durable and functional. It looks very nice and clean on the job. I’ve had a lot of people where I got this jacket from. It is my actual go to for jobs that are high-viz required or not."

Quality Jacket you’ll stand out in!

"Received this jacket to use for work on a daily basis and I have been really impressed! At first I was reluctant if it would be warm in colder weather due to it being very lightweight and a little on the thinner side. After wearing it several times in 30-40 degree weather I was impressed on how warm it actually was and the way it stood up to the wind! After about a week of wearing it in really dirty conditions I washed the jacket and couldn’t believe how clean and vibrant the yellow came out. Overall, this has been one of the best Hi-Vis jackets I have owned and would recommend it to anyone in the construction industry. Berne has done their research and makes a great product!"

This has great options!

"This jacket has some great options! Pockets that are vented to the inside of the jacket, awesome for drying my gloves. The black front and sleeves are were I get dirty the most. The hood has elastic drawstring with stops that are adjustable."

Functional Comfort

"Comfortable and downright useful! Huge step forward for commercial pressure washing gear. It's breathable and will still keep you warm and DRY. rinses right off and hasn't show any discoloring from chemical exposure. Countless pockets are also an excellent thing to touch on and the toughness of the jackets build. Very happy!"

Happy

"I use this at work very nice and warm. I am 6’ 5” 300 and ordered at 2XL and it is a little big on me. But no complaints on the quality of the jacket."

Hi Vis Hooded Shell Coat

"Had a chance to wear the Hi Vis Softshell on a job site in early December. Now one of the most comfortable jackets in my closet. I would like to see a couple interior zippered pockets to store items."

Great outer shell

"This coat does well in wind and rain. Perfect for outdoor work."

Fits well

"Fits well, would like just a little more liner or some fleece maybe inside. Was bearable at 38° but just a little chilly. Overall though seems like a good jacket."

Inside lining not attached to outer lining

"I bought this jacket at Family Farm and Fleet and wish I hadn't. The inside lining bunches up when you try to put your arms in the sleeves. You literally have to struggle just to put it on and pull the lining out of the sleeves to make room for your arms. The front pockets are angled so you can't carry anything in them as well. I'd give this jacket 1 star."
