Great coat

"I bought th flannel quilted coat . any yrs ago at Tractor Supply. Of all the coats I have had over the yrs, this coat is the warmest. In the cold winter snow northeast Ind, I put on my Berne coveralls, my coat over a pair of stretch pants and a tank. When Im do. e clearing the snow, my clothing is wet. Only my hands are cold. So ladies if you are looking for a good warm coat that last, go with a Berne, flannel quilted coat. Its worth the money. You dont need a dress coat either. I have worn it to church and it looks nice with dresses and pants."

Runs small, including pockets

"Sturdy, warm coat but it runs small in the hip area making it difficult to zip up (I’m small) Wish Berne would provide better sizing information for women. Normally wear a small, ordered a medium and it definitely runs small. Pockets are also functionally too small."

Great but could be better with one add on.

"Ordered this after frequently stealing my boyfriend’s. Incredibly warm, love all the pockets. My only complaint is the sleeves don’t have buttons or Velcro to tighten them up. That’s essential in a working / winter jacket and the men’s version does have that feature so I didn’t think to check. Ultimately I am keeping the coat as I have the skills set to make the sleeves adjustable on my own."

Hips too small, arms too long

"I wanted to love it, but the sizing was completely wrong and I couldn’t move. The arms were 4” too long (I’m 5’8”!) and the hips too small. I usually wear a size smaller in jackets, as well. Strangely, the corresponding overalls fit perfectly, even though I’m pear shaped and larger on bottom."

"It's a well-made coat. The hood isn't very functional, though. If you need to tie it the cords come up by your face - especially if you're moving around. The zipper pull needs to be bigger so it's easier to grab when you have gloves on. It's not as wind-proof as I would like. I Iike the length. It's roomy enough to wear a hoodie under it. It's been warm at least down to 19 degrees so far. My last Berne coat lasted well over 10 years."
