Perfect Jacket for all your needs

"Spring around here is basically a roulette wheel rain one hour, wind the next, and the occasional “why is it snowing again” moment. This coat didn’t care. It handled all of it without making me feel like I was wrapped in a sleeping bag. It stayed warm, cut the wind, and never soaked through, even when the weather couldn’t pick a lane. I’ve put it through the kind of stuff that actually tests a coat: pulling weeds when the ground is still cold, walking sewer sites where the wind somehow finds every gap, and long photography days where I’m kneeling, climbing, or lying in the grass trying to get the shot. It moved with me, didn’t snag on everything, and didn’t make me overheat the second the sun came out. It’s one of the few jackets I’ve worn that works for real life not staged “outdoor lifestyle” nonsense. Just solid, dependable, and ready for whatever Michigan decides to throw at it."

Perfect everyday

"I’ve been very happy with this jacket. The maroon color is rich and flattering — stylish enough to wear out, but durable enough for everyday outdoor work. It’s been perfect for mid-winter weather. It cuts the wind well, keeps me warm without feeling bulky, and has enough stretch to move comfortably throughout the day. I can layer underneath without feeling restricted, and it’s lightweight enough to travel with or keep in the truck. The only small thing I’ve noticed is that the wrist openings are a bit snug when pulling it on. I don’t have large hands, but someone with bigger hands might find it slightly tight getting through. Once it’s on, it’s comfortable. Overall, a great balance of warmth, function, and style. Would definitely recommend."

My Favorite Softshell Jacket

"I have the Maroon Soft shell jacket and it’s one of my favorites to wear. It is light weight yet keeps you warm. You can move around in it with all the different types of chores you’re doing. I’ll throw this one spring and Fall then on a not below freezing day in the winter. The hood is great on a rainy or windy day."

Nice jacket, just not one I would purchase

"I really like the color and outside material of the jacket. There are plenty of pockets and they are nicely lined. I feel the size runs a little small if you're planning to wear a sweatshirt under it. The sleeve length was a little short and the chest/core area didn't have enough room for easy movement when I was wearing a heavier shirt under the jacket as well. I was looking for the inside of the jacket to have a much softer and more inviting liner. The liner seemed basic and felt like it would provide no warmth. I will likely wear this jacket when working outside in the mist or transitional weather when I don't need to wear something heavy under it. The jacket also seems to be constructed well."

Heavy-duty windbreaker

"This jacket is the better version of a windbreaker. I like the slimmer fit, and a size small fits me well. The whole thing is lined with a soft material including the hood. It's nice that it has a collar on it for more warmth."

Not true to Women's sizes. Not happy.

"My husband purchased one of these jackets for my birthday and remembered my chest size is 20/22 but being a plus size girl this coat was too tight at the shoulders and arm pits. No one locally carries the next size up to try on. At least on the Men's size chart they include the actual measurements, not so on Women's. Get real Berne, women's size charts are all over the place, 2x can be anywhere from 35" to 55" depending on maker and country. I loved the material and color, just don't fit built woman."
