A Little Small and Too Big

"I'm a big guy. Not tall, just. . . chunky. I really like Berne because they provide oversized, high quality clothing. I decided I need a new lighter-weight jacket and picked this one. I like the materials used in the jacket, and it's the weight I was looking for, but there I do have some comments. 1) When I went through the sizing "computer" it recommended a 3X - 4X. I'm glad I went with 4X because I think that the 3X would be too small. 2) The cuff openings are very large, even at the smallest snap setting they still ride over my hands. 3) The exterior pockets are small. It's tight fit to get my hands inside which is weird considering how big the cuffs are. 4) I wish that the zipper was a bit heavier duty. It works but doesn't give the same rugged feel as the rest of the jacket. Overall I'm OK with the jacket. None of the problems listed above are concern enough to warrant sending the jacket back and I hope to get several years worth of wear."

Good, but has limitations.

"My company does a uniform program and uses quite a few Berne products. Overall, I am very pleased with the ones i've tried out. A great deal of my work consists of being outside in the elements, and I gotta admit that your coveralls, heavy jackets, and your thermal lined hoodies are fantastic. I do have one bit of feedback for you guys though. . . I have one of these Gasoline jackets size Large Tall. Overall, I love the jacket. The hand pockets are a little on the shallow side, but the chest pocket is great and super deep. (You can almost fit an entire 16. 9 oz bottle in the pocket and zip it closed). The adjustable cuffs and waist are very welcomed to tailor your overall fit. However, your size chart states that the Tall option adds 2" to the length of the torso but also to the sleeves. Well the 2" for the torso part is perfect, as I feel just the regular length would be too short. But. . . the extra 2" on the sleeves makes them too long, and it feels weird on my hands as I feel like a little kid wearing his dad's jacket. So I considered going to a Medium Tall, but you don't make one. And I feel like if I go with just a regular Large then the sleeves might be ok, but then the torso would be short and would get drafty. With our uniform program, it costs quite a bit to return an item, so its not worth it. Anyways, keep making the great products, just note that the sleeve length being directly tied to the torso length on the tall option seems off"

Best Jacket I've Found Yet

"Great, warm jacket! I've bought 2 so far, and don't regret it! Still use both of them super often, one for mostly work and it's held up solid."
