I bought this coat as a Christmas present for myself, after looking all over at many high prices places, I came across this coat and absolutely love it. Warm Jacket

"Just got my Dorset Sherpa Lined Hooded Work Coat. Came just in time as temps this morning in NJ were below freezing. Fit is spot on. 6'2" 230 give or take a cheeseburger. Went with XL Tall fits me perfect. I love little things with this jacket. The side buttons on waist or bottom of jacket. They come in handy when driving so jacket does not ride up. The inside cuffs of the jacket, will keep me warm. Inside pockets are great. The sherpa lining is very warm and cozy. Jacket also feels already broken in. Not stiff like some other competitors jackets. My first purchase from Berne, not my last."

Nice jacket

"As a long time Carhartt guy I got fed up with their prices. Paid around $130 for a jacket that was essentially a vest with sleeves and a a hood, the sleeves had no insulation in them. Was getting irritated that taking the dog outside my arms would get cold. Anyway, here I am with this Berne jacket. Upon first inspection, yes the sleeves have insulation in them. The sherpa lining is a little on the thin side but I think it will get the job done. The fit is a little roomy in the belly area. I am 5'8", 160 lbs, and I ordered a large. It fits well enough. The first time wearing it out, raining and 34 degrees, cold and miserable. The jacket kept me warm while the vehicle got up to temperature. Not sure how it will do when the Iowa winter sets in and I have to work outside when it's really cold. Will probably have to layer it with a hoodie but overall I am pleased with my purchase. I do like that the hood is nice and pliable with not too much lining, it should fit well under a hard hat."
